The Trillium Hospice management team consists of the four owners.


Samuel Lehman MD President
Dr. Lehman is a pediatric critical care physician with over 30 years of experience in working with dying children and their families. He has leadership experience including hospital roles of medical director of patient safety, medical director of pediatric intensive care unit, and CEO of a multispecialty medical corporation.


Dr. David Sine MD – Chief Medical Officer
The medical team at Trillium Hospice is led by Dr. David Sine. An expert in pediatric palliative care, pediatric hospice and concurrent care. Dr. Sine is a board-certified pediatrician and has been practicing pediatric palliative care for over 30 years. He is the pediatric hospice medical director at Hoffman Hospice in Bakersfield California and Kaweah Delta Hospice in Visalia California. Dr. Sine is the medical director of pediatric palliative care at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera California where he leads a multidisciplinary team of palliative care experts in addition to training physicians who are in palliative care fellowship training programs. Dr. Sine is a leader in the field.


Sean Hunt MSN, RN, CPNP-PC – Chief Financial Officer
Sean Hunt pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in pediatric palliative care, hospice and pediatric concurrent care. He has served roles at Hinds Hospice in Fresno California and is a member of the pediatric palliative care team at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera California. Sean has trained countless nurses and other staff in pediatric palliative care. In addition, Sean is a successful small business owner and has a great deal of experience in the business world


Emily Hunt CNS, RN, MSN, ACCNS-P, CCRN-P – Chief Nursing Officer
Emily has many years of pediatric nursing experience, including working with families of dying children. She has vast experience in nursing leadership and management and has worked in nursing leadership roles at major tertiary care hospitals including management of pediatric intensive care units, pediatric acute care units, neonatal intensive care units, and pediatric emergency departments. She is familiar with licensing and accreditation along with all areas of human resources.
